WHAT IS A CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture and is a relationship of mutual support and commitment between a local farm and community members. Members pay a seasonal fee upfront to receive a weekly supply of fresh produce, which varies in content according to the season. We will have your share ready for you to pick up each week at our farm, so you can grab it and go! Shares will include 6-8 items of the fresh delicious produce. Members pick up produce using their own reusable bag or box and leave our crate at the farm. Fresh picked produce is far more nutritious (and TASTIER) than it's over traveled supermarket counterpart and share holders can expand and deepen their love of cooking with new vegetables and greens each week! Members place an order every Tuesday on this website, we receive your order, harvest it fresh and pack it up for pick up every Friday. Add on-soup share... Sign-up to receive seasonally-inspired soups made with fresh picked vegetables and crafted here on the farm, ready for pick up every Friday. Think...healthy, creative, home-made soups ready to serve to you and your family free of anything artificial. Please see below for more information on our farm-fresh soups. Eventually, CSA members will have additional add-on options like fresh baked breads, meat shares and egg shares using our new co-op model.

How Much Produce Can I expect?
The amount and type of produce you receive changes with the seasons. In the spring you can expect more leafy greens and spring roots. Spring shares are generally smaller than summer and fall shares and our pricing reflects that. As summer arrives and temperatures go up, the share gets more robust, consisting of familiar vegetable staples like tomatoes and potatoes. This leads into a fall of hardy greens and cold loving root crops. Each share consists of some quantity of each vegetable that is in season that week. For example: 1 bunch of kale, 1 bunch french radish, 1 head lettuce, 2 pounds potatoes, 3 pounds tomatoes, etc.
Amounts depend on the variances of Mother Nature, but often correspond to the size unit you would see at the grocery store. While everyone’s vegetable needs are different, a full share tends to be adequate for a small family or a vegetable enthusiastic couple.

What If I Go On Vacation?
One option is to “Share your Share” with a friend. You can have someone else pick up your share while you are gone. However, you are responsible for explaining the pick-up location and procedures to your substitute. If you let us know the Sunday before you are away , you can switch your pick up day to an earlier weekday. (Please limit this to 1-2 times a season) For full season members, we offer 1 skip week that we welcome you to make up at the end of the season. Unfortunately, because we harvest a precise number of shares each harvest day, we cannot accommodate last minute switches.
When Do I Need to Send In My Payment?
As soon as possible. Take advantage of our early bird discount, sign up and pay in full before February 21 and take $28 off full season memberships (that's one free week). We are flexible and can set up a payment plan with you, just ask!
How Can I Receive Information on Upcoming Events at your Farm?
Join our mailing list! Please email Hana at [email protected], Facebook message her, or fill out the form under the "contact us" page on this website to be added. Interested in holding an event, workshop or photoshoot at the farm, shoot us an email.
